The Vice President, John Mahama is condemning the diversion of farm inputs meant for farmers across the country.
According to him, the practice whereby people divert packages meant for farmers because of due parochial interest must stop.
Mr. Mahama was speaking at the launch of the National Cocoa Rehabilitation Programme in the Asunafo North Municipality in the Bono Ahafo region.
Government subsidizes these inputs for Ghanaian farmers and government subsidizes them so that those inputs will go to the right people.
He said these unscrupulous people smuggle the stolen farm inputs across the border to sell to other countries.
He is therefore calling on all stakeholders in the sector to help nib the practice in the bud before it gets out of hand.
