A Deputy Minister of Information, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has encouraged the National Democratic Congress faithful and leaders in the Ashaiman Constituency to remain focused and committed to the ideals and principles of the party despite moves by some members to form a new party.
He said the NDC is a formidable party capable of retaining power whether a new party is formed or not, adding that the party survived the formation of the National Reform Party and the Democratic Freedom Party and is not daunted by any break-away group.
He however expressed the hope that the members of the National Democratic Party (NDP) will soon come back to the NDC to ensure a resounding victory in the December polls.
Mr Okudzeto Ablakwa was speaking at a programme organised by the NDC Constituency in Ashaiman to educate members on the social democratic ideology of the party.
