The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), has said it will meet to deliberate on how to move the party forward after the resignation of former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings.
The former first lady and wife of the founder of the NDC, Mrs. Rawlings tendered in her resignation on Thursday to contest the flagbearer slot of the National Democratic Party (NDP).
In an interview with Citi News, the NDC General Secretary in charge of Operations, George Lawson mentioned that �the functional executives will meet and then we will take a decision and whatever decision is taken, we will communicate to the general public as well as Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings.�
He added that once she has tendered in her resignation, Nana Konadu has seized to be a member of the party.
