Former chief of staff, Nana Ato Dadzie has warned against drawing comparison between the election petition case in Kenya and that of Ghana.
Former chief of staff, Nana Ato Dadzie has said that there is no need to a draw comparison between the election petition case in Kenya and that of Ghana. According to him, happenings in Kenya are entirely different from Ghana, adding that both countries have different democratic experiences.
Some legal practitioners had argued that Ghana could pick lessons from the speedy adjudication of the Kenyan election petition by doing same here.
But Nana Ato Dadzie said there is no need rushing the process and denying parties true justice. He said " the leadership there (Kenya) are already facing trial at the Hague. That trial of theirs was a special one. It is not and will not be the same as where our democratic judicial system is running"
