When it comes to politicians whose utterances appear to ridicule and treat messages from Men of God with contempt, only four ardent politicians have made it in the books of a renowned man of God.

Rev. Owusu Bempah, founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International believe it is about time such people were to respect men of God and be mindful of what they say about them.

First on the list is Mr. Kwesi Pratt Junior. According to Rev. Owusu Bempah, Mr. Pratt stepped on a landmine when he openly described Pastor Mensah Otabil, General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) as a high fever patient.

The Insight newspaper editor reportedly made the derogatory remark when Pastor Mensah Otabil cautioned Ghanaians to offer intercessory prayers unto the Lord to avert any calamity that awaits the nation after the final Supreme Court verdict.

The Senior Journalist has consistently denied he was referring to the ICGC Pastor when he touched on his allusion to ‘High Fever” and pastors being human and therefore vulnerable to all ailments that befall mortals.

According to Mr Pratt, the "if” in Dr. Mensa Otabil’s statement clearly indicates he is unsure of the prophecy and hiding behind that conditional clause, just like most prophets do.

He stressed that he is aware when people suffer from hay fever they have hallucinations thus it will be difficult to evaluate whether the prophesies are motivated by the ailment of the pastors or are genuine.

He noted that pastors are humans and they can “get sick” so there is no proof if a pastor, prophesying doom, has high fever or not.

But in an interview with Okay FM, Rev. Owusu Bempah questioned: “what has Kwesi Pratt achieved in life? What informed him to label Dr. Mensah Otabil as a man suffering from high fever?”

He cautioned him (Pratt) to bear in mind that though he has the free will to make derogatory remarks about people, it ends at the doorsteps of Men of God.

The second on the list is Mr. Allotey Jacobs. The Central Regional Communications director for the NDC attained his spot through his alleged association with “dwarfs”.

Allotey Jacobs(l) and Anita De Soso(r)

According to Rev. Owusu Bempah, Mr. Allotey Jacob considers himself superior to Men of God because of his reported relationship with dwarfs.

The man of God then named Madam Anita De Soso, National Women's Organiser of the NDC as the only lady to have managed to attained the unenviable position of third on the chart; though he did not go into detail about what specifically she had done to merit that spot.

“Some NDC members are disrespectful. From Allotey Jacobs, the man who moves about with his spiritual dwarfs to Anita De Soso, they are all disrespectful.”

Last on the list was Mr. Yaw Boateng Gyan.

The National Organizer for the NDC was cautioned not to compare mere mortals to Jesus Christ. Y.B. Gyan is on record to have said that when Jesus Christ took on the nature of man; He erred but quickly asked God for forgiveness.

Based on that Jesus' error, Yaw Boateng Gyan advised members of the New Patriotic Party to desist from disparaging Dr. Afari Gyan for the errors recorded in last year’s general election.

But Rev. Owusu Bempah analyzed that comment as one of gross disrespect to God. “I want to warn Yaw Boateng Gyan to also stop comparing Jesus Christ to Afari Gyan. I want to caution him against using politics to denigrate Jesus Christ. How can you compare Afari Gyan to Jesus Christ?” he asked.
