To mark the first anniversary of the John Mahama Administration, government is holding a special forum "in line with governments commitment to deepen transparency and accountability.
The forum which is being held at the Accra International Conference Centre is being attended by the press and interested Ghanaians and would be addressed by key government ministers.
Deputy Minister of Information, Felix Ofosu Kwakye in an interview indicated that the forum is to expose and re-echo the achievements of the Mahama-led administration.
However, Policy Analyst of the Peoples National Convention (PNC) says there is no need for the current administration to blow their horns. Atik Mohammed says whether or not they have achieved anything is for Ghanaians to tell.
Contributing to panel discussion on the first edition of Kokrokoo in 2014, Atik Mohammed said: If you think you have worked that hard, let Ghanaians be the judges; you dont need to organize a public forum and tell them what you have achieved. Ghanaians are discerningand so it is unnecessary to organize a public forum. You cant substitute the expectation of Ghanaians with public forum and media briefings.
