Alhaji Ibrahim Gibrine, a leading member of Agona East Constituency branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), aspiring for the constituency chairmanship, has appealed to delegates to vote for him in the upcoming elections for unity in the party.
He said if voted as the chairman, he would amicably settle all misunderstandings among members in the constituency for the party to maintain the seat in 2016.
According to him the party would need a hardworking leader like him to retain the seat to continue the vision of Better Ghana Agenda.
Addressing a press conference, at Mankrong �Junction, Alhaji Gibrine said this was the third time he was contesting for the position and hoped this time the delegates would vote for him.
He said he would also create job opportunities for the youth and liaise with some NGOs to offer small scale loan facilities to the people.
He said his first assignment when given the nod would be the settlement of the current misunderstanding between the District Chief Executive and Member of Parliament.
