President John Dramani Mahama has officially presented his list of recent ministerial appointments to Parliament.
The list was read on the floor of the House on Tuesday, June 17, when sitting for the week began.
Parliament had complained bitterly about the procedure in which the presidents ministerial reshuffle was announced, in public, without its knowledge.
Policies as much as possible must be announced on the floor of this House, remarked Speaker of Parliament Edward Doe Adjaho last week. Even when [government] decide to use the media, we must be informed.
Speaker Adjaho before proceedings on Tuesday, June 17 read the official list from the Presidency.
There was controversy, however, after the list was read when Ebenezer Okletey Tei Larbi appeared on the floor in his capacity as Deputy Minister of Defence though he has been moved to the Lands and Natural Resources Ministry.
