The pursuit of the Public Private Partnership, PPP, policy by government is gaining support from different political persuasions, academia and civil society.
The latest to buy into the idea is the 2012 Presidential candidate of the CPP, Dr. Abu Sakara. He believes it is the best option to drive the country's developmental agenda.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, Dr. Sakara urged the implementers of the policy to ensure value for money and that contractual agreements motivate the private sector, stimulate growth and benefit the public sector.
The PPP has become a national agenda which was started by the NPP government, continued by the late President Mills and now being
implemented by President Mahama.
