Peacefmonline.com can confirm that the Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Enterprise Support (YES) Fund, Kojo Adu Asare has been sacked two months after his appointment.
The former Member of Parliament for the Adenta constituency has been replaced by Madam Helgar Boadi, a banking professional.
The YES fund is a Government of Ghana programme initiated by President John Dramani Mahama in August to provide more innovative jobs and opportunities to contain unemployed Ghanaian youth between the ages of 18 and 35.
The initiative is to also create employment avenues for many others in the Ghanaian economy.
An initial amount of GH10 million was set aside to be accessed by qualified persons.
Reasons for Adu Asare's dismissal are however not known.
