A pro-National Democratic Congress group, John Mahama Fan Club (JMFC), will tomorrow Wednesday distribute one million car stickers aimed at consolidating the support base of President John Dramani Mahama ahead of the 2016 elections.

The sticker, the group noted, will be embossed with President Mahama’s picture with the inscription “I pledge my support for President John Mahama.”

The statement explained, “JOHN MAHAMA FAN CLUB (JMFC) on January 7, 2015 is organizing a get –together at the Veteran Association of Ghana (VAG) between 2: 00pm and 6:00pm as part of its activities for the year 2015.”

The get-together, which is expected to attract kingpins, supporters of the ruling party and Ghanaians alike, will also be used to commemorate the swearing in of the president of January 7, 2013.
Ghana’s former Ambassador to the United States of America, Daniel Ohene Agyekum, will be the special guest of honor.

The Special Guest of Honour for this year’s event is H.E Nana Daniel Ohene Agyekum, former Ghana’s Ambassador to the USA.

“The Club intends to distribute over one million stickers to Ghanaians, especially those who share in the vision of the President, in the first half of 2015 to reinvigorate the optimism and the energy in those people, to recommit their support for the president.

The campaign is to renew our resolve and commitment to the President in his efforts at building a Better Ghana for all. The stakes are high and we can see light at the end of the tunnel, and it is the considered position of John Mahama Fan Club (JMFC) that the support of every Ghanaian is crucial in making the President achieve his goal of constructing a Better and Prosperous Ghana,” the statement added.
