Tamale Central constituency communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has advised party members to desist from actions which will discourage floating voters in 2016.
Akbar Khomeini has emphasized the need for all NPP members to be civil in their utterances to inspire other people to join the party.
He was speaking at the official launch of the Dombo Youth Association in Tamale.
He said the formation of the Dombo Youth Association was very crucial since its members will help the youth to develop effective strategies to overcome their common weaknesses at the polling stations.
He insisted that NPP members should not shut the partys doors to supporters of other political parties who were anxious to join the elephant family because of what he Akbar Khomeini described as the bad governance exhibited by the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He further implored NPP members to avoid complacency and intensify their political education campaigns at the grassroots.
This in his estimation could help Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP to achieve their target of wining more seats during the 2016 general elections.
Akbar Khomeini reiterated Nana Akufo Addos commitment to transform Northern Ghana.
According to him, Nana Akufo Ado will implement the partys Northern Development Authority agenda by repackaging the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority to transform the three regions of the north.
He called for concerted efforts from all Ghanaians to get Nana Akufo Addo elected in 2016.
Over the years he has been accused of being a warmonger: when the Supreme Court delivered the verdict which many people described as farcical Akufo Addo accepted the verdict in the supreme interest of the people of Ghana and so as to ensure stability.
This is a demonstration of his commitment to peace and development of our country, Akbar Khomeini stated.
