Mr Daniel Bugri Naabu, the Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has commended people in the Region for the relative peace in the area.
Mr Naabu gave the commendation in a New Year message copied to the Ghana News Agency.
He said he would play his part as Regional Chairman of the NPP by engaging the youth in the party in constant dialogue on the essence of peace and the way forward for sustainable peace in the region.
He expressed appreciation to members of the NPP, the Regional Council of Elders, patrons and other party members as well as the Regional Executive Committee and all the Regional Committees of the Party for all their co-operation and continued support to build a formidable party poised for power in 2016.
Mr Naabu appealed to the people of the Region to vote massively for the NPP in 2016 for it to change the economic hardships that Ghanaians were going through.
