Maxwell Kofi Jumah, a former Member of Parliament (MP) for Asokwa constituency has been granted a GH¢10,000 bail with a surety by a Kumasi Circuit Court.
Kofi Jumah was charged for causing unlawful damage to a photo album belonging to the Electoral Commission.
He has also been charged with destruction of electoral materials and offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace.
Kofi Jumah, popularly known as Kofi Ghana who was a parliamentary aspirant in the Asokwa constituency was on Saturday arrested for ripping up the party’s voters’ register during the primaries of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
