“We will retire KT Hammond in 2016 so he can take his rest. While he is resting and no longer in parliament, we will now demand questions from him about the whereabouts of the drill ship. If we try to do that while he is in parliament, people will be accusing us of not allowing a parliamentarian to do his work”, he stated.
Following the recommendations of the Commission, Government in its White Paper on the report of the Judgment Debt Commission in November 2015, directed the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) to investigate KT Hammond.
KT Hammond who was the Deputy Energy Minister at the time has severally been questioned on how he disbursed US$900,000 which was left after the sale of the ship.

Mr Asiedu Nketia, are you saying that when someone is a parliamentarian, you can prosecute him? Have you forgotten about Hon. Dan Agbodagkpi's court case? Was he not a member of parliament at that time? Please you are behaving like somebody in the opposition. It is all because you don't have any facts.
I have listen to many members of the NDC including the president and whenever you listen to them, You will think they are in opposition. You guys are in government and have all documents to your disposal and yet you talk as if you are in opposition.. the other day it was the president who was asking Dr.Bawumia to tell us the cost of the re-denomination. Another day, it was Allotey Jacob who was also asking Dr.Bawumia to tell us where the old currency was dump. forgetting that the vice president was even a superior Dr.Bawumai at the BoG.
Fooooooolissssssh Iiidioooot palm wine tapper why did you not retire him four years ago and pursue him? Nonnnnsssense! Defeat is staring at you and your NDC and you criiiminaaals will see what will happen next. Don't make discerning people annoy.
