The largest opposition political party, has therefore dared the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to name a single NDC member that bought any State vehicle.
Kwaku Boahen, Deputy National Communications Manager of the NDC, threw the challenge to the NPP.
According to the NDC, the NPPs continual allegation that the NDC sold some state vehicles to its members at the later stages of their reign is blatant false.
The NDC has therefore challenged the NPP to name the NDC members, who are in charge of missing state cars now or forever remain quiet.
NPPs Allegation
Odeneho Nana Oppong, who is the Director of Transport at the Flagstaff House in Accra, had accused the NDC of selling state cars to its members.
He alleged that the vehicles were sold cheaply to the NDC members under the watch of ex-President Mahama and Julius Debrah, ex-Chief of Staff.
Odeneho Nana Oppong threatened that the NPP administration was not treating the case with kid’s glove, saying the buyers would be nabbed.
NDCs Response
Kwaku Boahen, who is very outspoken, stated that there is no iota of truth in the wild rumours that the NPP strong man had spilled out on air.
According to him, the NPP wants to cover the hardship in the country with the wild allegations, stressing that the NDC did not sell state cars to its members.
Meanwhile, Odeneho Nana Oppong, has assured that he has the list of NDC people in possession of state cars and he will publish their names soon.

"Meanwhile, Odeneho Nana Oppong, has assured that he has the list of NDC people in possession of state cars and he will publish their names soon." that is a sign that there are no names to publish at all. If there were any names, they would have been mentioned at the break of this news. In my candid opinion I suspect the cars to rather be with the NPP members! They took them in the wake of the Hand over. They are trying to pin it on NDC so attention is diverted from the fact that they could have taken the cars themselves. I am not sure this will wash. And please let's not in our blind support of a party believe anything that is said but rather remain intelligent and vigilant. Some African habits don't change because one joins or support a party. If your support is blind, you might live to regret after next 3 years. Lets keep our eyes and minds open. Those NPP guys in power today are not Angels from heaven.
All ministers and deputies bought their official saloon vehicles.Volta regional ministers bought auction vehicle
I blame Akuffo Addo for treating these criminals with kid's glove. Akuffo Addo should tackle corruption first. It is the most important thing for the government to do. Kuffour did a good job, but the NDC destroyed it with corruption.
Massa; I think the NPP should adopt an all out strategy to publish and shut down the BIG toxic mouths of these NDC bandits down besides the NPP should go all out to bring to the attention of the oublic all the rotten and evil deals by the NDC ; the aim will be to cause the utter demise of this EVIL party that Ghana has never seen befor ; ARE THESE NDC members Ghanaians one may ask ; these are evil people attempting to use Ghana to build another state in another country where they will enjoy their loot ; buy houses and flats set up businesses and when they ill fly out with their families to get better treatment for their families and leave Ghanaians to suffer ; WHAT A PARTY OF BANDITS SET UP BY EVIL JJ RAWLINGS TO RAPE GHANA !!!!!!; NPP SHOULD GO ALL OUT EXTINGUISH THIS PARTY FROM GHANA
Let me name you one..... Omani Boamah. How about that? Call and ask him.
Wait and NDC people will met people before the SP
I think the report was a msitake. You people actually pinched the vehicles at the blindsideof the authorities. So I agree with you that there will not be any information on people who bought cars when leaving office. I suspect you are one those who pinched vehicles from the national pool.
Yet, he opened his mouth to say CEO of Public Sector Reforms is a liar. Saying someone is lying on air is NDC's only evidence. Meanwhile the CEO produced documentations of evidence on TV. The video is on ***barred word***. It was Kessben TV program hosted by Omanhene.
It is Smart something, I think it is Smart Mensah whose name was mentioned as one of the said beneficiaries.
