Many political pundits have been giving their view on President Akufo-Addo’s two years in office.
While some are praising him, others especially in the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) thinks there is nothing good going on.
Hon. Mubarak Mohammed Muntaka, NDC Member of Parliament for Asawase Constituency said on the scale of 10, the Akufo Addo-led government scored a paltry 4.5 percent in its two (2) years in office.
“The dishonesty of the government is even more annoying than the failure” Member of Parliament (MP) for the Tamale North Constituency, Alhaji Alhassan Suhuyini observed.
Adding his voice to the debate during a panel discussion on Radio Gold’s Alhaji and Alhaji, Saturday, Lawyer Edudzi Tamakloe of the NDC, said the only thing the ruling government has given Ghanaians is hardship; 'not to talk of unfulfilled promises.
According to him, the bad governance of the NPP has worsened the plight of Ghanaians.
“Akufo-Addo’s government is so lazy; and has proven within two years to be corrupt” he added.
Background
January 7 marked exactly two years Akufo-Addo was sworn into office as the fifth president of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.
