Member of Parliament (MP) for the Assin Central Constituency on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Agyapong, has strongly refuted claims that he offered a reward for Ahmed Hussein-Suale an investigator with private investigative firm, Tiger Eye PI, to be killed.
This is in spite of empirical evidernce attesting to the fact that he urged his staff to beat the investigative journalist anytime they sighted him on the Oman FM premises located at Madina.
Speaking in an ecxlsive interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Wednesday, the maverick politician also asserted that though he has lots of evidence on Anas Aremeyaw Anas, the Head of the Tiger Eye PI group, but does not trust the Ghana Police Service with his gathered information.
"I never offered a reward for Ahmed to be beaten, killed," he said.
"I don't trust the police. I have a lot of evidence but I don't share with anybody....I will serialise it for Ghanaians to see who Anas is and I am not afraid to die. I can get you voices, people coming out with evidence who are so afraid and who don't trust the police and therefore everything is hanging," the outspoken NPP MP told the BBC.

That's my man, Hon. Ken thanks.
Wow, what a bold answer from Ken, did i alone hear him saying that's rubbish, ask intelligent questions, how many Ghanaians will be bold like this Man to give answers like this to the white world, Ken you have earned my respect
you listened to this and concluded this man is intelligent? Ghana
As you said "the evil that men do lives after them". Their job is to set people up, and make money for themselves. Have the BBC asked Anas who killed the Tamale Chief. How many investigative journalists around the world have properties like these boys. All your responses were right and straight to the point. Amen to you and if Ghanaians are cowards at least we have you as a true loving African and Ghanaian.
Lunacy of the highest order. Ken should be locked up. He seems not to understand his contribution towards the assassination of Ahmed Suale. This is a sad day for Ghana, if we continue to have people of his caliber in Parliament. Please the Security services should save Ghana by arresting Kennedy Agyapong before things get worse. The world, especially donor countries are watching to see what happens on this case. The Security services and the populace should look at the ignominious spectacle of Kennedy Agyapong's action to the image of Ghana. Think about the socio-political imbroglio his rhetoric is courting for our democracy. Why was he afraid of being set up? His statement gives him away as one of the corrupt persons in Ghana. I am not afraid of being set up by any body in life; come day or night I am who I am, nothing can change this. As for those, who out poverty think his riches can save them, and keep flocking around him, I only wish they can reason beyond the stomach.
For the first time I have felt in love with someone I have never liked. Although the death of Ahmed is very regrettable, I think Mr shaping may be having some info we may not have. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt and implore home to share them. I never knew he could be so intelligent and can speak so well outside the box. My position on him is gradually tilting to his favour. If he calms things down and continue with his supposed love for Ghana, he will endear the hearts of many.
very brave man.
YOU HAVE MADE ME PROUD AFTER I LISTEN TO THE INTERVIEW. YOU ARE INTELLIGENT AND BRAVE. EXPOSE HIM, MY BROTHER. BRAVO1!!
