The Chief of Wamfie and the Kontihene for Dormaa Traditional Council Nana Barimah Ansu Adjei has endorsed the candidature of President Akufo-Addo ahead of the crucial December 7 elections describing him as a trusted leader who has skills and experience to provide prosperity for all Ghanaians.

Nana said they have observed that during his tenure as president, he has made an indelible mark on the fundamentals of the national economy, saying, no one, at least not one that has lived in this country can deny the fact that the evidence of Akuffo Addo's achievements abounds before them.

Nana Barimah Ansu Adjei made the endorsement at the campaign launch of the Parliamentary candidate for Dormaa East Mr. Paul Twum Barimah at Wamfie on Friday.

Present to grace the ceremony was the Member of Parliament for Assin Central Hon Kennedy Agyapong, the National Organizer Sammy Awuku, Bono Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe Abronye, Deputy Minister for Evaluation also the out-going MP Hon Paul Sabi, the Regional Secretary Kofi Ofosu Boateng, and other high profile individuals.

According to the Wamfie chief, they are convinced that the President needs another term of office as he has ensured that Ghanaians have gotten their fair share of developmental projects that has been undertaken by his administration.

Nana noted that Ghanaians will do themselves a great disservice if they fail to retain the President in power to continue with implementing his policies and programmes aim at developing Ghana to an appreciable level.

The National Organizer Sammy Awuku in his remarks said President Akufo-Addo is not seeking the high office of this land again because he wants to steal Ghanaians money and line his pockets with the nation’s resources, but seeking to better the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian.

He charged voters in Dormaa East to ignore John Mahama and his candidate in the area and accord Mr Paul Twum Barimah the needed moral, spiritual, and material support as he contests for the December General Elections.
