Deputy Communications Director of the NPP, Mame Yaa Aboagye has appealed to party supporters to remain united before and after its Presidential Primaries.
According to her, unity, mutual respect and hard work will guarantee them peace in breaking the eight (8).
The NPP will from next year begin the process of electing new officers from constituency to national level including its Presidential Primaries.
As the party gears up for the Primaries, there already tantrums from camps of Presidential aspirants against one another.
Mame Yaa Aboagye urged the party supporters to say things that will strengthen the party in “breaking the 8”.
“It’s too early to be fighting over who will succeed President Akufo-Addo in 2024. I think it is important we all help achieve our vision and deliver on our promises to Ghanaians because that will guarantee our breaking the 8. Whenever we get the opportunity to talk, let’s all project the good works of President Akufo-Addo and his government.
“There is so many things to talk about, from building of infrastructure such as hospitals, schools, constructing of roads, free SHS, payment of allowances etc…There is a lot to talk about today instead of fighting for tomorrow. If we project what we have done today, we won’t be facing difficulties in projecting whoever (candidates) delegates will vote for. Let’s consolidate our gains today to secure us victory in 2024.”
She insisted that every member of the party must be on board for this dream and vision to be achieved.
