As Parliament resumes sitting on the e-levy today, Ghanaians expect the right decisions will be made on their behalf regarding the payment of the levy on all electronic transactions.

The adjournment of the e-levy followed a heated debate and brawl among the Parliamentarians on whether or not the E-Levy Bill should be passed which became a fiasco when the First Deputy Speaker, Mr Joseph Osei-Owusu, sitting in for the Speaker Alban Bagbin, decided to hand over to his Second Deputy Speaker in order to participate in the voting for the approval of the e-levy.

The e-levy is among several items that will be broached in the House as the Members sit to deliberate today.

Speaking on Peace FM's ''Kokrokoo'', seasoned journalist Kwesi Pratt has cautioned the Parliamentarians not to repeat the incident that characterized the e-levy sitting last year where they landed punches on one another in what looked like a boxing match.

He advised them to hold peaceful proceedings and deliberate on specifically the e-levy in the interest of Ghanaians.

Cautioning the MPs, he said; ''I will be very sad that our Parliamentarians will throws blows like Cassius Clay and slapping one another today as Parliament resumes sitting. It's not a good thing. It disgraces the country. They must ensure a calm and peaceful proceedings''.
