The Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Henry Kokofu, has expressed profound gratitude to Ghanaians for enduring the current economic hardships.
Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show, Mr. Kokofu admitted that Ghana is saddled with huge economic challenges but was however appreciative that despite the economic crises of the nation, the citizens continue to show resilience.
"We must thank Ghanaians. The average Ghanaian has resilience. The average Ghanaian has patience. The average Ghanaian knows how to endure hardships. An average Ghanaian knows this is his/her only country, so we must all unite in times of difficulties and find solutions," he said.
He was hopeful the Akufo-Addo administration is on track to finding a lasting solution to them.
He believed the President is working hard around the clock to better the lives of the citizenry and called on them to remain patient.
