Aspiring presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Kwabena Duffuor will submit his nomination to run in the opposition party’s election for flag bearer on Thursday.
According to a statement issued by his spokesperson, Antonio Edem Asinyo, the nomination filing was moved from Wednesday to Thursday in response to a request for a new date from the National Executive of the NDC.
The statement explained that it was necessary for the party’s National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, to deliver the “True State of the Nation Address” on Monday at the UPSA auditorium.
“Dr. Duffuor’s campaign team will be present at the presentation and entreats all party faithful to attend,” the statement noted.
