Minority Leader, Cassiel Ato Forson has expressed his disappointment with NDC MPs who were involved in what some have described as a "treacherous" act which led to the approval of all six NPP ministers.
The Minority side in Parliament was taken aback after Friday's vote because of an earlier stand to reject all of them.
Adansi Asokwa MP, Hon Kobina Tahir Hammond was confirmed as Minister for Trade and Industry with 154 yes votes as against 116 NO votes, while Dr Stephen Amoah was approved as Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry after polling 146 votes against 123 NO votes.
Member of Parliament for Abetifi, Bryan Acheampong was approved as the Minister of Food and Agriculture with 167 YES votes. The Member of Parliament for Karaga, Mohammed Amin Adam, was okayed as Minister of State at the Finance Ministry with 152 YES votes.
Stephen Asamoah Boateng is the new Minister for Religious and Chieftaincy Affairs, while Mr. Osei Bonsu Amoah heads to the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development as Minister of State, having garnered 149 YES votes.
Ato Forson in a Facebook post said, even though he is disappointed in the outcome, he is grateful to the "over 100 NDC MPs who worked tirelessly to represent the will of the majority of the Ghanaian people".
"These MPs have demonstrated their unwavering commitment to the betterment of our society. Their tireless efforts to push for a reduction in the number of ministers are a testament to their dedication to our shared cause. While the outcome may not have been what we had hoped for, I believe we can still work together to achieve our goals. I remain hopeful that, by continuing to engage in constructive dialogue and collaboration, we can find a way forward that benefits all Ghanaians. Once again, I want to express my disappointment, but I am also grateful for the efforts of those who worked to represent our collective vision for a better Ghana. Let us continue to strive towards a brighter future" he added.

The difference is clear. There is full of wisdom and maturity in the NPP than in the NDC. When some NPP MPs joint hands with the NDC MPs to deliver speaker Bagbin we didn't get this infantile reactions from the NPP leaders both in the house and in the party structure. Today see what is happening, insults and name calling everywhere. The Centre can't hold simple because MPs who are nationalist have done their job.
