Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has intensified his street-to-street campaign in Accra with surprise visits to lorry stations and markets.
The NPP flagbearer, who has adopted an energetic meet and greet campaign in markets, lorry stations, on the streets and house to house in communities, stormed the popular Neoplan Station at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra.
Drivers, traders and the public were excited to see him; they shook hands with him with some also hugging him in an unrestrained expression of excitement.
Dr. Bawumia, whose style has been to exchange pleasantries with people at random, also greeted as many of those who trooped to catch a glimpse of him and interacted with them.
The Vice President also paid a surpsrise visit to the office of Telecel, formally Vodafone, and interacted with the staff.
He further moved to Kaneshie market where he was mobbed by the traders and shoppers who embraced him and chanted his name and his “It Is Possible” mantra in support of his candidacy.
Dr. Bawumia also had similar reception when he visited the Abeka market and Nii Boi Town where he also interacted with the community members from house to house.
