Kumawood actor Big Akwes who accused movie producers, actors and directors of sleeping with actresses has apologized for the claims he made on RTV months ago.
Actor Akwasi Asamoah aka Big Akwes has alleged that movie producers sleep with actresses before giving them movie roles. He told Papa Kumasi, host of �Anigye Fie� that he will curse anyone who denies the accusation.
The actor has finally withdrawn his statements that producers, actors and directors sleep with actresses before giving them movie roles. He further apologized for his utterances on RTV which raised blood pressure among industry players for weeks.

The Allegation:
The allegation by the actor on RTV in Kumasi, sparked controversies in the country months after his assertion. Whilst Kumawood actor Bernard Aduse-Poku popularly known as Koo Musuo affirmed the accusation by the actor but had problem with his choice of words, actress Ellen White thinks otherwise.
Following the allegation, the Ashanti Regional chapter of the Ghana Actors� Guild issued a statement signed by the guild�s president, Bill Asamoah, disassociating itself from the comments made by the actor on the TV station. They further gave him a period of seven days to withdraw and apologise for the statement .
Ghanaian actresses who also think Big Akwes has disgraced their womanhood through their association led by Mercy Asiedu also wrote to him to apologise and withdraw his accusations within three days or face court charges.
As if that was not enough for the actor, Film Producers Association of Ghana, FIPAG also warned their members not to work with the actor for the next twenty four months to serve as a deterrent others.
