Nollywood produced comic blockbuster “30 In Days Atlanta”, shot in America and Nigeria has finally gotten to Ghana.
The movie which was premiered at the Silverbird Cinemas in Accra over the weekend attracted a massive crown of movie lovers. Patrons never cease to laugh whilst lines from the screenplay remain on their lips: “This foreign witch cross border come reach here?” “Kponkpi” etc. Indeed, the movie is worth the promo.
Present at the premiere was Nigerian Comedian Ayo Makun popularly known as AY who is the lead act in the movie and the producer, Ramsey Nouah, Desmond Elliot, Juliet Ibrahim, Lydia Forson, among other celebrities who graced the red carpet.
Described as a hilarious and roller coaster twists, “30 Days In Atlanta” is based on a popular comic character, Akpors, who is known for his display of naivety and astuteness with grains of truth in his act.
The movie is a perfect blend of Nollywood, Ghallywood and Hollywood stars starring the likes of Hollywood stars Vivica Fox, Karlie Redd and Lynn Whitefield. Others are Nollywood stars include Richard Mofe-Damijo, Mercy Johnson, Ramsey Nouah, Desmond Elliot and comedian Ayo Makun (AY) as the lead actor and from Ghallywood are Juliet Ibrahim and Majid Michel.
