Homeproud Entertainment , a top-notch event management group in Kumasi, and Duncwills Entertainment, managers of celebrated hiplife artiste Sarkodie,the chap who has been touted as the fastest rapper currently on the Ghanaian music terrain, have both confirmed the Tema whizz-kid’s participation in what has been dubbed, the’24th Nite Concert’ slated for the Royal Lamerta Hotel,Kumasi December 24.
In a statement communicated to event publicist and blogger,Kwabena Agyeman-Kobia, the CEO of Homeproud,Kelvin Poku Boateng intimated that the signing of Sarkodie was in response to the numerous calls that his outfit had been inundated with,ahead of the Christmas Eve show.’’The crave for the ‘Azonto King’ is just too great,that we had to give it a consideration’’,he stated.
Sarkodie,the ‘rapperholic’ who in recent times has been referred to as the ’King of Azonto’,the newest dance craze in town, is expected to perform to the excitement of his teeming fans who have been waiting in earnest to join the ‘azonto’ party, alongside high profile artistes like, KwabenaKwabena and Becca in the December event.
