The launch of Ghana Music Awards 2014 and release of nominees at Golden Tulip on Saturday March 1 was a great night full of anxiety and high expectations especially for the musicians and stakeholders who were looking forward to be nominated.
And there were some funny moments too.
Perhaps the best time on the night was when various celebrities were invited on stage to announce the nominees. The likes of BBA couple Elikem and Pokello (Polikem), Deborah Venessa, Stephanie Benson, Ama K. Abebrese, actor Eddie Watson among others eased the tension and gave everybody a good laugh with funny tongue slips and humorous moments.
Others fumbled on stage mentioning names of artistes and titles of songs wrongly.
The night couldn't have ended without the usage of the most popular word in Ghana currently Tswiaaa (Tweaaa) used by Zimbabwean beauty Pokello on stage.
