Gospel musician, Nana Osei popularly known as Nacy, has re-branded himself.

The artist prefers the right spelling of his name and brand. Talking to lovinggh.com, Nacy said he wishes to be called by his former name, ‘Nacy’, but with the right spelling of it ‘NACEE’.

The artist is currently working on his first solo studio album which would be released under Nacee music records.

In an interview with lovinggh.com, Nacee stated that he’s still a part of the group, No Tribe, but he, Nacee, is moving on to his personal solo project. He also added that his partner, Lord Amisah Bonzy, is also embarking on another project ‘The worship leaders’, a project which will be recorded under the Nacee music record label.

Nacee has also announced his annual community project where he records upcoming artists with a discount price, as part of his social responsibility. Nacee told lovinggh.com that he wants to record up to 50 artists, all across the country from various regions.
He explained that he wants to give back to society the support and love it has shown to him and his No Tribe music group over the years.

So after consultations with his new management team, which would be headed by Nana Poku Ashis and Frank Owusu, 60% of his actual studio fee was slashed off. 40% of the cost would be paid by the artist who qualifies to record under the project.

The Nacee community project initiative has been in existence since 2006 but has been a bit on the low key. Artists who have benefited from this initiative in the past are Josh Laryee, DSP Kofi Sarpong, OJ, Cece Twum, Selina Boateng, Cecilia Marfo and many others.

The impact of these legends in our industry is quite evident. Their works are all commercial viable in Ghana and beyond.

Nacee told lovinggh.com that his favorite football teams are Chelsea and Abusua Dwarfs. Apart from listening to his music, he would listen to Richard Bona, Kojo Antwi, Sarkodie, Daddy Lumba, Amakye Dede, Kwabena Kwabena, Shatta Wale, Pat Thomas, Samini, Efya, Nana Ampedu, to mention a few.

Nacee disclosed that it’s his dream to carry Ghanaian music to the very top. He said there is a lot more he would like to give the world musically. He prays for strength to work hard and serve the Lord with all his heart .
