Some Ghanaian movie stars mostly from Kumawood graced the parade grounds at the Black Star Square on Sunday March 6, 2016 as part of Ghana Independence Day celebration.
In a bid to add colour and give a lighter touch to Ghana’s 59th Independence Day anniversary parade at the Black Star Square in Accra, the movie stars who were mostly comedy actors performed a sketch as Police officers from the colonial era.
The actors, led by Papa Nii Papa Fio also known as Oesophagus included, Agya Koo, Kyeiwaa, Kwaku Manu, Mr. Beautiful, Bob Okala, Sagaribiwi, DJ Willy among others.
The performers, mostly drawn from Ghana’s largest movie industry, Kumawood, managed to put smiles on the face of the thousands of Ghanaians who were present at the event and millions of viewers at home and around the world.
