Popular reggae artiste and radio presenter, Blakk Rasta has waded into the massive debate on social media regarding a decision by Achimota School not to admit two Rastafarian students until they have a low-cut hair.
Speaking in an interview on Peace FM's The Platform programme, Blakk Rasta described as shameful the fact that a qualified student will be denied an education because of his dreadlocks.

Nobody is preventing you from practicing your religion. Just obey the school rules. Simple as that. If you cannot obey the school rules then you find another school.
Blak Rasta.Tell us the truth, at what age did you started growing or wearing dreadlocks. Im shocked at the hypocrisy you guys are exhibiting. Maybe you identified your field or your profession before growing this dreadlocks. I beg you guys for do this kids a little good. Allow them to decide for themselfs whether they prefer rastafarianism. they are too young to impose this kind of lifestyle or so called religion on them. Rockstone, is that your pretty girl who got married last year a rastafarian. Man, i think you guys just want to comment. You have allowed your offsprings freedom to make a choice for their selfs but have not imposed any byforce profession on them.Yes, Blak Rasta, the children must be denied entry because they are too young to wear dreadlocks not withstanding the fact that they are going to influence other wards to copy such a lifestyle. if you guys are truly rastafarians, get into the history of Bob marley from infancy to the period he started growing dreadlocks. there was a time that he cut it for a reason. Just one or two rastafarian imposing his believes by hook or crook to well astute celebrated institution like Achimota is unfortunate. Paddies chock koraaa. You guys have it wrong
It is sad that every and anybody thinks they can now walk into court and petition anything to change in their favor. Blackk Rasta, you are as backwards as you those you spew garbage against. You peddle misinformation in the name of religion. Yet, you are the same person who for decades has made $$$$ talking reckless about religion. All of a sudden, you want to use religion as an argument for some delusional teenager who thinks growing dreds is a religion. You funny, NOT...!! #CancelBlakkRasta
...and you think authorities of Achimota school are not entitled to the rules of their own school?
Well said Blakk Rasta. But is Rastafarianism a religion? What is religion? By the way when Hon. Ras Mubarak CUT HIS HAIR before contesting and winning parliamentary seat, what did you say to him? Let's stop the hypocrisy.
