Broadcaster and Presenter of Okay FM's Entertainment show ''Best Entertainment'', Halifax Ansah Addo has rebuked actress and social media sensation Rosemond Brown, a.k.a Akuapem Poloo over her press conference on Saturday, April 24, 2021.
The press conference was held at Fine Print Building opposite Inesfly around STC transport yard in Accra.
Delivering a speech, Akuapem Poloo rendered a tearful apology to all Ghanaians over her nude picture publication last year and also vowed never to repeat her actions.
She also thanked the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for his intervention in freeing her and also other parties who participated in securing her bail.
Akuapem Poloo was sentenced to 90 days imprisonment after she pleaded guilty to three charges regarding posting a nude picture of herself crouching in front of her son to celebrate the son's 7th birthday.
Reacting to the press conference, Halifax Ansah Addo stressed the conference ''is useless to the substantive case'' in the court for which she was given a 90-day sentence.
He argued that the contents of her speech, particularly with regard to her expressing gratitude to the President, was out of taste and could arouse unnecessary heated arguments.
"The only usefulness of that press conference is that it helped the media. So, it was very useful to the media; we will get some things to discuss. It was totally useless to the substantive case in the court. What does it do to the case? And it is even risky looking at the content of what our sister said at the press conference," he stressed.
"When you start to mention the names of the people who intervened and freed you, you are not free," he added.
He made these comments on UTV's "United Showbiz" on Saturday.
