Popular hiplife/highlife artiste, Kwame Nsiah-Appau, aka Okyeame Kwame, has officially been introduced as the brand ambassador for Waylead Ghana Company Limited, a group of companies that specialises in residential, retail, and commercial real estate development.
The unveiling ceremony, which was held at the premises of the company at Lashibi in Accra, was attended by a number of personalities which include immediate past president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) Bice Osei Kuffour, popularly known as Obour, and a section of the media.
The ceremony also saw the signing of the terms of contract between Okyeame Kwame and Waylead Properties.
Though the management of Waylead failed to disclose details of the deal at the ceremony, the company is expected to use Okyeame Kwame’s music and brand to market and promote their products.
The ‘Made-In-Ghana’ hitmaker, who was extremely excited about the ambassadorial deal, will be involved in increasing brand awareness and sales by promoting the products through various media channels.
Speaking after the unveiling ceremony, Okyeame Kwame expressed his appreciation to Waylead Properties for the confidence reposed in his brand to push the fortunes of the company through increased sales by creating loads of attention.
“It is, therefore, my singular honour to promise them that everything we have in this document, I’m going to stick by it, and I’m going to make everything a responsibility of mine plus 1,” Okyeame Kwame stated.
The Managing Director of Waylead Properties, Keegan Wang, said signing Okyeame Kwame as brand ambassador was a strategic move to position Waylead in the luxury accommodation space.
According to him, “With this collaboration, we aim to make our name known to every Ghanaian that Waylead can deliver a high-quality home regardless of budget and to help bridge the housing needs of the country.
“As a reputable estate developer, we wish to promote our name to more Ghanaians, both at home and abroad, to help people discover suitable and quality homes. We believe Okyeame has the means to spread our name very far.”
Okyeame Kwame, who has been in the music scene for the past two decades, has received a number of awards for his outstanding achievement in the music industry in Ghana and Africa.
