Entertainment pundit, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo and gospel musician Brother Sammy nearly took United Showbiz to the boxing ring as Brother Sammy felt insulted by a comment Arnold made about him regarding the musician's public act to invite people to his album launch concert.
Prior to Brother Sammy's album launch, a video popped up showing a lady shaking her buttocks and a few seconds later, Brother Sammy appeared in the scene to announce his concert and invite patrons to the event.
But Arnold found this act to be sacrilegious to Christianity and an insult to the sanctity of God, describing the act as "foolishness".
“As I sit here, I am praying that God would give me patience because the foolishness is becoming too much. The point is in the House of the Lord, what we saw is very shameful, very disturbing and very troubling. See these are some of the silly things being done in the Jerusalem temple that caused Jesus to use a whip on them because in the eyes of the Lord, it’s an eyesore.
“If he had been remorseful or apologetic when you called him, we would have said okay, he did it but has realised that he went overboard. But here he is, justifying and actually making a mockery of those who have a problem with it,” he fumed.
Brother Sammy, in reaction to Arnold's comment, revealed on Saturday, May 7 on UTV's "United Showbiz" that Arnold's statements made his wife cry deeply.
He expressed his utter disappointment in Arnold and hoped for an apology from him.
But Arnold stood his ground and refused to render an apology to Brother Sammy asking "Where did I insult him?".
