Six Heads Housemates were put up for eviction this week on Monday evening when Confidence, Danny, Jossy, Vina, Weza and Zeus topped the nomination list to face possible eviction on Sunday, May 15.

Ghana’s out spoken rep, Confidence led the nominations by five nominations. Zeus as Head of House had a chance to save himself and put someone else on the chopping block.

He saved himself and put Vimbai up for possible. He burst out in laughter when Big Brother asked him which Housemate he would like to save, before saying, “it goes without saying that I would like to save myself.”He was not drawn into saying why he was replacing himself with Vimbai. After Zeus saved himself, the nominated Housemates are: Confidence, Danny, Jossy, Vina, Weza and Vimbai. Confidence gave the most shocking reaction to nominations in the Big Brother Africa series yet, when she blurted out her anger when her name was first to be mentioned (alphabetically). She screamed that she was not surprised and walked out as Big Brother continued with the announcement of nominated housemates.

Later in a chat with Hanni, Confidence explained that if she had not reacted in that manner, she would have had a heart attack because she felt betrayed by the fact that she was living in the same room with the people that nominated her. Not that I think im Ms perfect and I shouldn’t have come up for eviction…for me I needed to be sure that I am really a threat actually…and now we will see what Africa says, if Africa says I should go home, then fine!”, she commented.

During the nominations, most of the people who nominated Confidence explained that she was too controlling and sometimes negative. Voting has commenced and Africa will be voting to keep a nominated housemate in the house. Which means, the more you vote for your favourite nominated housemate, the better their chance of staying in the house. The Housemate who receives the least number of votes will be Evicted.
