In line with its brand promise of quality television, e.tv Ghana, the fastest growing television station in Ghana, has added ‘Panorama’ to its bouquet of programmes.
Panorama is a thirty minute social magazine programme that will critically ‘put an eye on our communities’ and seek to address the challenges they face whilst creating a platform for advocacy in the area of change and development.
Hosted by one of country’s finest female broadcasters, Frema Ashkar, the programme will also take viewers on a journey through the beginnings of the community to its current state and highlight areas where change can be effected. It will also visit and map out possible or existing tourist facilities that may be used to generate revenue for development.
Long Form Coordinator of e.tv Ghana, Araba Forson remarks that ‘there are several issues happening in our communities that need to be brought to light in order to have them resolved. We cannot be operating in communities and not care about their development. This is what Panorama is here to do - explore our communities by using the camera to tell compelling life stories of recreation, history, eco- tourism, politics and several other issues.
