Rainbow Radio presenter, Agyemang Prempeh, who has won the hearts of many listeners in the metropolis, has got two nominations for the 2013 Radio and TV Personality Awards.
Agyemang Prempeh aka Agyemang nie got nominations for Radio Gospel show Host of the Year 2013 for his programme Rainbow Church on Sundays and Radio Entertainment Talk Show Host of the Year 2013.
His entertainment show on radio, GH Entertainment, aired on Saturday afternoons from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, has seasoned entertainment analyst as resources persons.
Agyemang’s activities on radio have probably inspired many people to consider a career in radio and he is gradually making his way to the top, as the number of his admirers keeps increasing by the day.
Since his entry into radio, courtesy Channel R, Agyemang has won the hearts of many radio listeners in Accra and beyond, and in the process, becoming a household name.
Agyemang Prempeh, who is keen on improving his performance and promoting the radio industry in Ghana, said the way to succeed in radio broadcasting is to establish long-term strategies based on effective techniques.
He pointed out that three things created a strong and successful radio station operation, saying they are quality signals, promotion and programming, adding that after strategizing, presenters need to research into the taste and needs of their listeners.
Since he became a radio presenter, Agyemang has worked tirelessly to make his presentations on Rainbow Radio unique. He has also taken it upon himself to encourage the up-coming presenters to learn from those already on the scene.
He told News-One that he would not rest until he reaches the top, stressing, “The sky is my limit. I will work hard to maintain the good image i have attained so far as i remain a presenter and always think of satisfying my listeners and admirers in whatever i do”
Based on his outstanding achievement in the radio industry, Agyemang Nie has been described by his colleagues as one of the best interviewers when it comes to entertainment issues.
What makes his programme unique is the international dimension he adds to it, where listeners will phone in to contribute from UK, US and different European countries, all showing their admiration for the programme and its host.
Because of his versatility, style, interviewing skills and content of his show, Agyemang Prempeh has been tipped to grab the two awards.
