About 35 technical staff of TV3 have been summarily dismissed by management of the station for “wearing” red attire, which according to management, disturbed the peaceful labour environment within the media house’s premises.
Their dismissal followed a query letter sent to them asking that they explain why they wore red to work at the same time.
In Ghana’s labour environment, wearing red signals discontentment and warning to agitate for better welfare.
It is not clear if the 35 workers planned to wear red to send a particular message to management or make a specific welfare demand.

Tv3 because there is no job in our country Ghana,Private company take their decision quickly without thinking of the future. This tell u how sore proprietors work or one man business. Quick decision taking later regret for it.
This is not a way to go bye. TV3 Management you need to come again. I don't see any wrong of wearing red attile
Peace FM, what is wrong with your editors. TV3 is talking about 32 and you guys are talking about 35. You guys are not always accurate.
What is wrong in wearing red attire to work? Infect I am wearing red with two on my office friends and that should not give us a sack . What an organisation .
TV3 PLS SOMETIME HAVE PATIENCE WIT YOUR WORKERS ELSE YOU WILL END UP LIKE OTHER STATION NOT OPERATING AGAIN
Well said Fat cobra, it is utterly ***barred word*** to fire these employees and not listen to their demands instead. They have to take this to court and send a message to employers who are abusing contracts and welfare of their employees.
To the 35. Don't just take this summary dismissal and later join the numerous groups of people disturbing the President to intervene in such matters. If you don't and later claim that you are unemployed because of the NPP government, God will punish you. Hmmmmmm My advice is read through your employment contracts, get yourselves very good employment lawyers not just those who appear on every TV or radio station to make noise. Take TV3 to court and seek redress as sson as possible. Success of your cases will send a strong signal to companies in Ghana who always think they are doing people favours by employing them. Sacked without notice for wearing red? aaaaaba Ghana.
