On 31st January 2020, VDN Group released another Episode of Third Party Source which they reviewed United Showbiz.
Abeiku Santana hosted the show filling in for Nana Ama Mcbrown. His guests Kuami Eugene and Yaayaa alongside Arnold Baidoo and Kwame Aplus, had a discussion about “Controversies”.
Arnold Baidoo went ahead to say controversy sells and in a way sounded like Ghanaian artists couldn’t survive in the industry without controversies. Kuami Eugene was also for the motion saying controversy makes ups 40% of an artist’s career.
Rems and Cassandra both Producers and hosts of the show “third Party Source” had a different opinion about what was discussed on United Showbiz and made their point clear that not all artists in Ghana are controversial but have still made it and still making it big in the industry.
Arnold Baidoo then responded with a post on Facebook and lashed out at Ameyaw Debrah for posting the content, he said “LEARN! Having a camera in front of you and a microphone stuck close to your mouth is not enough.
Ameyaw Kissi Debrah, you have become the cheerleader for my friends at VDN Group and their commentary over some of things we mutter on United Showbiz. I love what they are doing – it makes it all fun but, kindly tell them to learn, learn and learn. These stripes didn’t come easy. Brethren, learn!”. We’re yet to see if VDN Group responds to this.
