Former International Boxing Federation (IBF), Welterweight Champion, Joshua “The Hitter” Clottey on Wednesday, defeated Anthony Mundine, with a unanimous decision in the World Boxing Association (WBA) International Junior Middleweight contest, in Australia.
The three judges scored; 116-108, 115-109, 117-108 in favour of the Ghanaian.
According to reports, Mundine visited the canvas five times before the close of the one-sided bout.
Clottey, has now improved his fight record to 39, with 22 wins by knockouts, four losses and a draw and will be looking forward to take a shot at a world title soon.
