Jonathan Euro, Ghana’s new champion in Muay Thai Kickboxing, has described his fight against Zhang Yulong of China in Hong Kong, as a tough one, as he had to battle the harsh cold weather condition as well as a tough champion.
He said, he made a promise on Ghana Television before leaving that, he was going to win in round two and his game plan worked to perfection.
Speaking to the media on his arrival at the Kotoko International Airport, Euro who represented Ghana last year as part of the Pro Fighting Factory team at the first African Muay Thai Championship in Morocco, expressed appreciation to Ghanaians for their support and prayers.
According to Euro, his strategy was to entertain the crowd in round one and go all out in round two.
He thanked his cornermen, Lawrence Nmai and Isaac Doku, who guided him with good technical and tactical advise to ensure victory for Ghana.

This is an unusual sport and so to win in it means you are extraordinary. As Chenua Achibe did put it "a disease that has never been seen cannot be cured with everyday herbs". The most important thing in a sportsman's life is to keep fit and focused. Success is sweet but maintains and sustaining success is difficult. Only the finest can sustain success, hence that should be your next goal - to cling to your maiden success with determination, denials, hard work and prayers.
