The Ghana Cycling Association (GCA) is pleased to inform the general sporting fraternity, its Partners, stakeholders and the media about the latest appointments of two top officials of the Association by the Confederation of African Cycling (CAC).
GCA President, Sahnoon Mohammed has been elected as a member of the Scrutiny Committee of the Confederation of African Cycling. Technical Director, Shaaban Mohammed has also been appointed as a leading Commissaire for the Cycling Events in the upcoming All Africa Games scheduled for Maputo, Mozambique.
These appointments were made at the just ended CAC Congress which was held in Nairobi, Kenya on July 22nd. The event also captured in attendance the President of World Cycling Body, International Cycling Union (UCI), Mr. Pat McQuaid and the Coordinator in charge of National Federations – Mrs. Dominique Raymond.
The Association calls for the continual support of all stakeholders and corporate Ghana to help develop the sport.
