The Tema Country Golf Club has initiated a number of development projects to give the Club a new face lift.
The projects include an irrigation scheme, the changing of the Browns into Greens, fencing of the Course and development of the Holes.
Mr Kweku Okyere, Captain of the Club announced these at the Club's Annual General Meeting at Tema on Sunday.
He said Unilever Ghana Limited had agreed to sponsor the 'Lipton Bi-Monthly Golf Championship up to December this year.
Mr Okyere called on members to take keen interest in the activities of the Club to develop the sport up to international standards.
Ebenezer Tetteh Mensah defeated Charles Oliver on count-back after they both had returned a net score of 71 to win a special competition held to commemorate the occasion.
The third position went to John Wattenberg while Florence Etwi-Barimah won the only prize reserved for the Ladies with a net score of 73.
