Former Ghana Football Association boss Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe is backing the Black Stars to reach the semi final of the FIFA world cup expected to place in Brazil this June.
The Black Stars made an impressive quarter final appearance at the South Africa 2010 competition, moving a step further from the 2006 tournament.
Ghana still remains one of the favorite African teams expected to shine at the world cup and the former GFA boss has no doubts the Black Stars will move a step further.
“We played the USA before and with Portugal, I believe will be a difficult game but we have the experience to deal with them." He said
“We can go very far in this competition and had it not been Suarez, we could have gone very far in the previous world cup."
“We have very good footballers and the challenge is going to be very good and very confident they will prove themselves to the whole world by going a step further from 2010”.
The Black Stars are paired in group D alongside Germany, Portugal and the USA.
