Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II, the Paramount Chief of Dormaa Traditional Area, has dismissed perceptions that his investments in Aduana Stars Football Club, is primarily to make profit for himself, but to support the youth.

He said, he was motivated by the lack of employment opportunities in the system to create opportunities for majority of unemployed youth in the area.

“Many of you here are breadwinners for your families. The mere fact that you play for Aduana alone makes you able to look after your families. Your standard of living needs to be assessed and supported if it's low", he stated.

Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II said this at Abanpedease(his Palace) in Dormaa Ahenkro when the management, technical staff and players of Aduana Stars presented him with the Super Cup won by the team at Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi when they whipped Kumasi Asante Kotoko by 1-0 last Sunday.

Barimah Yeboah Kordie, the Aduanahene of Dormaa Traditional Area,

advised the team not to allow complacency to take a better part of them, but work harder and take the instructions of coaches seriously with total commitment and seriousness to personal training.

He asked for unity in the team while urging them to avoid selfishness on the field of play as success thrived on team work and not individualism as they prepare for CAF Champions League.

“You all know the huge investments made by Osagyefo in your camping all in an effort to build your stamina, that made it possible to beat Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the second half", he stated.

The Chief appealed to the team to endeavor to reach the money zone in the CAF Champions to win the admiration of Osagyefo, Nananom, Dormaaman, and Ghana as a whole and bring honours and successes to themselves as well.

Barimah Oppong Yaw Boabasa, the Gyaasehene of the Dormaa Traditional Area, asked the players to compliment the efforts of the coach and provide corrections to fellow mates when they go wrong on the field of play.

He appealed to the players not to become peeved when they were sidelined or put on the bench stressing the choice and selection of players for any match is under the discretion of the coaches as they strive to win the championship in Africa.

"Instead of griping over not gaining playing time, let this spur you on to take training seriously stressing because we know all of you are good players", he emphasised.
