Aspiring National Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Boateng Gyan has called for an overhaul of the entire executives of the Ghana Football Association.
The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kwesi Nyantakyi is under investigations by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of Ghana Police Service after he was implicated in the latest exposé by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
He was reportedly caught on the investigative video having a shady transaction with some businessmen, using the name of the President and the Vice President of the Republic.
Commenting on the Anas' exposé on the corruption in Ghana's football, Yaw Boateng Gyan noted that Kwesi Nyantakyi shouldn't be singled out because the entire management of the Football Association needs to be dissolved.
He told host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's Kokrokoo that there should be new leadership for the Association, saying government "shouldn’t only single out Kwesi Nyantakyi. They (entire executives) are all part of it. So, they should all go”.
