Dr. Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah, Governance Lecturer at the Central University, has kicked against the re-appointment of Serbian football manager, Milovan Rajevac as Head coach of Ghana's national soccer team - the Black Stars.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Milovan Rajevac have agreed on a two-year contract after sacking C.K Akonnor as coach of the national team.

It is believed that the GFA and Rajevac had already agreed all the terms of his contract before his arrival  to accelerate the process for him to name his squad for next month's World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe.

Milovan is currently lodging in a hotel in Accra and will be given an official residence and car when he begins executing his duties.

According to sources, the Serbian will receive a whopping 45,000 US dollars as salary.

But to Dr. Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah, it's a complete waste to go back for Milovan to coach the Black Stars.

''We were here in this country and we went for this coach; his face doesn't even inspire hope. When we brought him, he came to meet already good players. He didn't do any proper coaching; the players were already good and did their best for us to qualify for world cup. He didn't even bid us goodbye when he left us," he said.

He expressed disgust over the attitude of the GFA officials towards Ghanaian coaches arguing the Association wouldn't give huge remunerations to Ghanaian coaches nor treat them well but will be extravagant in their expenditures when it involves a foreign coach.

Dr. Otchere-Ankrah cautioned the GFA to stop toying with the national team and asked the Association to drop the ''Milo, coffee or lipton'', as he called the new coach.

Speaking to Nana Yaw Kesseh on Peace FM's ''Kokrokoo'', he said; ''GFA is not an individual's property. We joke too much with things in Ghana. We made it like it belongs to some group of people; football people''.

"How many times have we appointed a Ghanaian coach and how much do we give them?'', he further asked.
