The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) has scheduled to hold a congress on Thursday, April 28, 2022, in the Conference room of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences in Accra.
A statement signed by Mohammed Sahnoon, the secretary of the committee, indicates that congress has been slated for the aforesaid date after a board resolution on March 9, 2022.
The statement says two representatives from the various federations will attend the congress as voting delegates for Olympic sports and one other for non-Olympic sports.
The federations have been entreated to send to the committee via email the exact composition of the delegates for the congress seven days before the date for the event.
The statement also implores the federations to send questions deemed necessary to the Board and President of the committee to be included in the agenda for discussion.
