Ghana youth international Ishmael Yartey has had his loan wish granted as he joins second tier side SC Beira-Mar in the upcoming season.
The 19-year-old has failed to break into the Benefica first team despite impressing with the youth side since joining them in 2007.
The loan move was facilitated by Portugal legned Rui Costa who now acts as the club's sporting director. "Upon the advice of Rui Costa, I did not hesitate to play at this level in Aviero.
This is the chance for me to show my capabilities,'' Yartey disclosed. "I am going to score goals and create chances. I consider myself a quick player and I will use it to my advantage."
